Injectable Consultation
30-minute clinician assessment for fillers, skin boosters, biostimulators and other suitable injectable pathways.
Service Description
What is an injectable consultation? This is a medical and aesthetic assessment before any injectable treatment is selected. It is an opportunity to discuss your concerns, understand the available options and decide whether treatment, an alternative approach or no procedure is appropriate. Booking a consultation does not guarantee a prescription or same-day treatment. What will we assess? The clinician will review your goals, facial anatomy and movement, skin quality, natural asymmetry, medical history, medicines, allergies, previous injectable treatment and any past complications. Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infection, dental work, immune conditions and medicines that affect bleeding may influence timing or suitability. Possible options Depending on the assessment, existing clinic pathways may include dermal fillers, skin boosters, biostimulating products, treatment for masseter-related concerns or excessive sweating, and prescription-only treatment where clinically indicated and legally prescribed. Prescription-only medicines and brand names are not promoted or guaranteed through this booking page. Planning and expectations Your clinician will explain the proposed product, treatment area, intended outcome, alternatives, likely duration, recovery, limitations, total cost and whether a cooling-off period or separate prescribing appointment is required. Natural asymmetry remains and no injectable can guarantee a particular appearance. Risks and limitations Risks depend on the product and area. They may include pain, bruising, swelling, infection, asymmetry, lumps or nodules, inflammatory or allergic reactions, pigment change and an unsatisfactory result. Filler procedures carry rare but serious risks including vascular occlusion, skin injury and visual loss. Prescription muscle-relaxing injections can cause unwanted weakness, asymmetry, drooping or swallowing problems. Product-specific consent is required before treatment. Aftercare and urgent symptoms If treatment proceeds, you will receive product-specific aftercare and emergency contact advice. After filler, severe or increasing pain, blanching or unusual skin colour, visual symptoms or neurological symptoms require urgent assessment. Breathing or swallowing difficulty requires emergency help. Book your consultation This 30-minute Glasgow consultation costs £25 and provides an individual treatment plan before you decide whether to proceed.
