Service Description

What is blepharoplasty? Blepharoplasty is eyelid surgery that removes or repositions selected excess skin and, where appropriate, fat. At Esteem Life, the consultation considers upper-eyelid surgery and whether lower-eyelid Alma Hybrid CO₂ treatment may form part of a combined plan. What may it help with? The procedure may be considered for heavy or hooded upper eyelids, excess eyelid skin and selected concerns around the lower eyelids. Results vary, natural asymmetry remains, and surgery cannot stop future ageing. Your consultation and suitability This 30-minute appointment at 24–26 Wilson Street, Glasgow is an assessment and discussion, not a commitment to surgery. The clinician will review your concerns, eyelids, eye symptoms, medical history, medicines, previous procedures and expectations. Alternatives, limitations, recovery and material risks will be discussed. Surgery or CO₂ treatment will not be suitable for everyone. Procedure and recovery If you proceed, the agreed plan may include upper-eyelid surgery under local anaesthetic and lower-eyelid CO₂ laser treatment. Bruising, swelling, tightness, watering or dry-eye symptoms and temporary visual blurring can occur. Recovery varies; you will receive personalised instructions and follow-up, including suture removal where applicable. Risks and limitations All surgery leaves scars. Risks include bleeding, infection, delayed healing, asymmetry, altered sensation, dry or irritated eyes, difficulty closing the eyelids, visible scarring and the need for further treatment. Rare but serious eye or vision complications are possible and will be covered during consent. This webpage is an overview, not a substitute for consultation and formal consent. Aftercare Follow the clinic’s wound-care, medication and activity instructions. Do not rub or pick the area. Seek urgent advice for severe or increasing pain, sudden visual change, marked one-sided swelling, uncontrolled bleeding or other symptoms identified by your clinician. Price and booking The confirmed Hybrid Blepharoplasty package is £2,000 and includes consultation, upper-eyelid surgery, lower-eyelid CO₂ treatment, medication where appropriate, routine aftercare, follow-ups and the one-week review with suture removal. The £25 deposit secures this consultation. It is credited against treatment if you proceed and is non-refundable. With at least 24 hours’ notice, it may be transferred to another Esteem Life service for the same patient, but not to another person. Late cancellation or non-attendance forfeits it. The clinic allocates the appropriate clinician according to the clinical pathway and availability.

Cancellation Policy

Consultation deposits are non-refundable. With at least 48 hours' notice, the £25 deposit may be transferred to another Esteem Life service for the same patient, but not to another person. Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours, and non-attendance, forfeit the deposit. If treatment proceeds, the £25 is credited against the treatment price.
